The Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) is the largest independent national registration body for the sector, tracing back to 1949. Professional Hypnotherapists of Australia (PHA) is a smaller, Perth-based peak body offering an alternative registration pathway for Australian practitioners.

None of these is objectively "the best" body to register with.
